Ryan Hill is the founder and chief executive officer of KIPP New Jersey (formerly TEAM Schools), a network of public charter schools in Newark and Camden, New Jersey. KIPP New Jersey is part of the nationally recognized “Knowledge Is Power Program” network of free, open-enrollment, college-preparatory public schools dedicated to preparing students in underserved communities for success in college and in life. A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Hill was the winner of the New Schools Venture Fund Impact Award, the Bank of America Local Heroes Award, and was named one of 11 New Jerseyans to watch by the Newark Star-Ledger. In 2015 he received the Delbarton School Distinguished Educator Award and in 2016, was named to the Pahara-Aspen Education Fellowship.
