Lindsay Grow

Lindsay Grow is associate professor and education department chair at Grand View University in Des Moines, Iowa. Literacy is her focus area and being a mom of three kiddos under 10 keeps her always learning something new. She is a children’s book author working to publish a few books, including one about vision therapy that she co-wrote with her son. She wishes she was multilingual, but uses her voice to advocate. She is the co-advisor of a Bilingual Education Student Organization (BESO) affiliated with NABE. Lindsay serves on the Iowa Association for Colleges of Teacher Education (IACTE) executive board and formerly served on the Reach Out and Read advisory board. Lindsay received the Outstanding Academic Advisor Award and the Outstanding Club Advisor award at Grand View University.
