Angel Gonzalez

Angel Gonzalez is the director of research at Bluum. Angel’s expertise in education research is shaped first by his experiences as a first-generation Mexican-American growing up in a low-income community in Los Angeles. His childhood and opportunities has compelled Angel to question how race and poverty come to bear on the lives of young people. Angel received his undergraduate degree from Carnegie Mellon and master’s from the University of Chicago. Angel is eager to help create research that helps create good educational opportunities for low-income and minority students.
